A major coaching mistake that no one is talking about is our decision to attempt a long field goal INTO the wind towards the end of the first half. We missed and the bungles got the ball with a much shorter field. They drove down and scored a td right before half-time. MAJOR coaching blunder Bill, even if they didn't get a hand on the kick, it's not likely to go the distance.
Not as big a mistake as the muffed punt (when we had them by the throat) but serious nonetheless.
